UX Software Engineer Location -100% remote - huge plus if candidate is local to Austin, TX and can work onsite a few days a week Duration -2 years - possible extension but not guaranteed Max Cost –DOE Visa: USC, GC and GC-EAD Preferred. Essential Requirements: • Using front-end languages including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3 to build public-facing, enterprise web applications • In-depth knowledge of user interface models, enterprise application design, and website functionality • Concepts and practical application of Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 and later), SEO, and UX Performance • Test-driven development and automated testing frameworks (Jasmine, Mocha, JEST, Selenium) • Prototyping tools such as Figma, WebFlow, and Sketch Desirable Requirements: • 8 years of experience in relevant field • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience • Modern back-end programming languages • Building APIs/Micro-Services/Micro-Front-Ends Remote Skills: Application Programming Interface (API), Computer Science, Microservices, Programming Languages, Prototyping, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Selenium, Software Engineering, Test Driven Development (TDD), Test Harness, United States Department of Energy (DOE), User Interface/Experience (UI/UX), Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) About the Company: Georgia Tek Systems
