Salesforce Project Manager Location: Jacksonville, FL or Remote Duration: 06 Months Rate: DOE US Citizens and Green cards are Preferred. Job Description: We are looking for a Salesforce Project manager to help manage the migration of a legacy web application to Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex Salesforce projects, including data migration, system integration, and custom development. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to deliver successful project outcomes. Required Skills - • * Project Management • Stakeholder Management • Risk Management • Budgeting and Forecasting Job Duties - • Lead and manage the end-to-end migration of a hosted application to the Salesforce platform. • Develop and execute project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure project alignment and success. • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery. • Oversee data migration, system integration, and custom development activities. • Monitor project progress, generate status reports, and provide updates to senior management.* Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle. • Facilitate training and support for end-users post-migration to ensure smooth transition and adoption. Job Requirements - • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Manager, with at least 3 years managing Salesforce migration or implementation projects. • They should have a proven ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion, including planning, executing, and closing projects, along with demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders. • Familiarity with Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices is required. • PMP or equivalent project management certification is necessary. • The candidate should possess excellent skills in managing stakeholder expectations and communications across different levels of the organization. • Demonstrated experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks is essential. • They must be proficient in budgeting, financial forecasting, and managing project budgets to ensure cost-effective project delivery. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required to address project challenges and ensure successful outcomes. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed to clearly convey project status, issues, and solutions to diverse audiences. • Strong leadership skills are essential, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. • Familiarity with data migration, system integration, and custom development processes within the Salesforce environment is necessary. • Finally, the candidate should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Desired Skills & Experience - • Salesforce certification such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator is a plus. • Knowledge of additional Salesforce products such as Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, or Sales Cloud is beneficial. • Experience with third-party integration tools and data migration strategies is a plus. • Strong understanding of change management principles and practices. • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment. • Advanced proficiency in project management software and tools. • Experience in training and supporting end-users during and after system implementation.
