Full Description

Production Associate This entry-level hourly position supports production by learning to safely operate corrugated production equipment, while maintaining a strict adherence to safety rules and regulations. The Production Associate works in a hot, humid, and noisy environment, working any shift including holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed. • Assist in the setup of equipment to defined standards and product specification targets • Monitor and/or enter data into computer control systems • Assist with troubleshooting equipment to optimize production • Read tape measure in increments of 1/16" • Perform basic quality checks, multitask, pay special attention to detail, and communicate effectively with peers and management • Perform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work environment • Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals • Operate and/or work around mobile equipment • Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment • Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day or as needed during the shift, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment
