Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field which includes four (4) years in a managerial or supervisory role; OR Eight (8) years of related professional experience which includes four (4) years in a managerial or supervisory role; OR Four (4) years of experience required at the lower level Mgr 2, Business Ops (GSM011) or position equivalent. Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year. Preferred Qualifications (based on the needs of the position): Preference will be given to applicants who in addition to meeting the minimum qualification possess the following: • 5+ years of demonstrated experience with contract management including contract modifications and contract monitoring • 5+ years of demonstrated experience developing and monitoring contracts compliance and knowledge of program and policy planning, program development, implementation and evaluation • 2+ years of experience using PeopleSoft Financials • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interface with senior leadership • 2+ years supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to coach staff and teams with diverse levels of expertise • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g.., Word, Excel) The DPH Commissioner and agency leaders encourage all employees to engage in regular wellness activities and to make lifestyle choices that promote health and well-being.
