George Thomas are working in partnership with a rigid plastic packaging company that services the global market. We are actively seeking a Key Account Manager, who will play a vital role in managing a portfolio of accounts across the home & personal care markets across the Southeast territory Reporting to the Sales Director, you will work closely with diverse teams to elevate customer satisfaction and provide exceptional service. Location - Ideally you will be located in the Atlanta, GA Region. You will add value to the team by: • Cultivate strategic accounts by collaborating within a global account team • Build meaningful connections throughout customer organizations to drive growth • Identify new product opportunities based on insightful customer feedback • Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, and Supply Chain to understand and address customer needs • Highlight competitive advantages during negotiations with grace • Develop and implement compelling value propositions with an insights-driven approach • Oversee account planning, pipeline management, and CRM systems with diligence What will make you stand out: • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a packaging science field. • 5+ years of experience in direct sales or key account management, preferably within CPG, cosmetic, beauty packaging or B2B personal care manufacturing. • Ability to embrace new marketing and sales techniques with enthusiasm • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Experience thriving in decentralized environments with frequent travel • Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with a passion for exceeding sales goals • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Salesforce Apply directly or reach out for a confidential discussion samuel.thomas@george-thomas.com
