Position Title: Technical Project Manager Location: Geofabrica, Auburn Hills, Michigan Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site Overview Geofabrica is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead complex development projects within a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Will collaborate with the engineering team that designs and develops unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs/drones) as we transition to manufacturable, cost-effective, and high-volume UAV systems. This position will support a U.S. Department of Defense program and will require proof of U.S. Citizenship to be eligible for employment. Job Summary • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget. • Develop detailed project plans utilizing project management tools. • Gather and analyze requirements through stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering techniques. • Manage project schedules, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project implementation. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field. • 4+ years of experience project management experience in a technical environment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in project management software and with Microsoft office tools. • Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes (composites, machining, additive, injection molding). • Team-oriented, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced dual-use (commercial + defense) environment. • Demonstrated leadership in program or project management roles with excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities. • U.S. Citizenship (required for defense-related projects). Preferred • Experience in UAVs, drones, or aerospace platforms • Familiarity with MIL-STD mechanical/environmental requirements and aerospace quality standards.
