Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Local Tractor Trailer Store Delivery Driver! In this exciting role, you will be the face of our company, delivering products to our valued customers with a smile. You’ll navigate local routes, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while providing exceptional customer service. Your expertise in commercial driving and warehouse operations will shine as you load and unload deliveries, all while maintaining the highest safety standards. What you’ll do • Drive a tractor trailer along designated routes to deliver products to various locations. • Load and unload goods using Hand trucks , roller racks , pallet jacks, and manual lifting techniques. • Provide outstanding customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. • Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. • Collaborate with operations staff to efficiently manage inventory and delivery schedules. • Handle heavy lifting and moving of products as required, ensuring proper techniques are used. • Navigate local roads effectively while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Experience • Proven experience as a delivery driver • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. • Experience operating manual pallet jacks is advantageous. • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. • Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently. • Knowledge of route driving practices and local area navigation is essential.
