SUMMARY: The Account Specialist - Fluid Conveyance, is a customer-facing product and application expert who supports field sales teams. This role works closely with suppliers, sales leadership, and account managers to identify and develop new sales opportunities, provide technical guidance, and ensure strategic alignment with strategic supplier offerings. Additionally, the specialist builds and maintains strong relationships with existing customers to deliver expert product solutions and drive business growth. JOB DUTIES: Engage directly with account managers and customers, primarily through face-to-face interactions, to build strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate fluid conveyance products, services, and solutions. Generate new business and increase sales through cross-selling and repeat sales by developing and executing targeted sales strategies. Identify potential customers and manage ongoing relationships with existing accounts. Prepare and deliver sales bids, proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations to support the sales process. Collaborate with the leadership team to develop business plans aimed at achieving product and sales objectives. Responsible for sourcing and purchasing products in branch inventory, distribution center inventory or supplier inventory. Personally manage time allocation and priorities, focusing efforts on the highest ROI opportunities to meet goals. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a high school diploma or GED. Typically requires industry and sales experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES Knowledge of industrial and hydraulic fluid conveyance products and systems. Knowledge of supply chain systems. Reliable, organized, detailed and focused. Moderate computer skills, including communicating internally and externally via email. Ability to use Microsoft Office, proficiency in Excel. Ability to multitask and manage time well. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May be required to be on-call nights or weekends, depending on need. LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS: Valid driver's license required. All company vehicles are subject to continuous video monitoring. The pay may vary based on performance as this is a commission based role. If you are hired at Motion, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
