Full Description

Genspark is looking for a Brand & PR Manager who deeply understands the US market and knows how to orchestrate impactful brand campaigns. You'll be the strategic bridge between our internal team and external agencies (PR, creative, media), while owning brand campaigns across traditional media, OOH (out-of-home) advertising, and digital brand marketing. This isn't a hands-on execution role—you'll be the strategic partner who ensures our brand narrative stays consistent and compelling across all channels. You'll manage multiple agency relationships, oversee multi-channel brand campaigns, and make sure every touchpoint reflects who we are as a company. What You'll Do - Agency orchestration: Manage relationships with external agencies (PR, creative, media buying), ensuring they deliver results that align with our brand strategy and business goals - Campaign leadership: Plan and execute integrated brand campaigns across traditional media, OOH advertising (billboards, transit, etc.), and digital brand channels - Strategic alignment: Serve as the bridge between external agencies, internal marketing team, product, and leadership to maintain brand consistency across all initiatives - Media planning: Develop media strategies and oversee placement in traditional outlets, ensuring optimal reach and impact in the US market - Budget stewardship: Manage brand and PR budgets, allocating resources strategically across channels and campaigns - Performance tracking: Monitor campaign performance, manage agency deliverables across PR and creative partners, and track brand metrics to demonstrate ROI and inform future strategy - Brand governance:Ensure all external communications and campaigns reflect Genspark's positioning, voice, and visual identity - Crisis readiness: Partner with PR agency to develop crisis communication protocols and manage any reputation challenges - Creative direction: Provide strategic input and feedback to creative agency on brand campaigns, ensuring creative output aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives What You Bring - 5-8 years of brand marketing and/or communications experience, ideally at tech companies or leading consumer/tech brands - Agency management chops:Proven experience managing external agencies (PR, creative, media buying) and getting the best work out of them - Integrated campaign expertise: Track record of planning and executing multi-channel brand campaigns including traditional media, OOH, and digital - Deep US market knowledge: You understand American media landscape, consumer behavior, and cultural nuances that make campaigns resonate - Strategic thinking: Ability to develop brand strategies that ladder up to business objectives and translate them into actionable campaigns - Budget management: Experience managing six-figure+ marketing budgets and optimizing spend across channels - Product storytelling: You can translate product features into user benefits and craft narratives that resonate with productivity-focused audiences - Startup DNA: You're comfortable with ambiguity, rapid pivots, and wearing multiple hats when needed - Vendor relationships: Strong negotiation skills and ability to build productive partnerships with agencies and media vendors ⭐ Bonus Points - Experience with product-led growth (PLG) companies, especially productivity tools or SaaS applications - Background in consumer tech brand marketing (think Notion, Figma, Airtable, etc.) with understanding of bottom-up adoption strategies - Experience with programmatic advertising and digital media buying - Track record of successful OOH campaigns in major US markets (SF, NYC, LA, etc.) - Product launch experience from zero to one What We Offer - 💰 Competitive salary and equity package - ❤️ Health, dental, and vision insurance - 📅 Flexible PTO policy - 🏠 Remote-friendly culture (though we love our SF office vibes) - 🚀 Front-row seat to building products millions of people will use daily - 👥 A team that actually values work-life balance ☕ Our Vibe We're confident about what we're building but humble about what we still need to learn.
