Support and lead technical discussions on advanced cooling solutions, convert customer requirements into technical specifications, and collaborate on system design and validation.
Experience with data center thermal management, HVAC/R systems, and cooling technologies, including immersion and direct-to-chip cooling, with knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
Seeking an Applications Engineer to support its expansion into data center infrastructure, with a focus on advanced air and liquid cooling technologies. This role works closely with hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data center customers and equipment OEMs to enable high-efficiency thermal solutions for high-density racks and AI/HPC workloads. Key Responsibilities • Lead technical discussions on air-cooled and liquid-cooled data center architectures, including direct-to-chip and immersion cooling. • Position sensors and controls within CDUs, CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, cooling towers, adiabatic systems, and related cooling equipment. • Convert customer cooling and reliability requirements into sensor and control specifications. • Support design reviews, system validation, and failure analysis in line with ASHRAE and EPA requirements. • Collaborate with product and engineering teams on standard and customized cooling solutions. • Provide technical support for customer demos, trade shows, proposals, and quotations. Preferred Experience • HVAC/R systems and data center cooling infrastructure. • Liquid cooling technologies (direct-to-chip, single- and two-phase immersion, hybrid systems). • Strong fundamentals in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermal management. • Exposure to AI/HPC-driven thermal challenges. • Knowledge of ASHRAE TC 9.9, data center water classes, and EPA refrigerant regulations (A2L, low-GWP). • CDUs, CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, cooling towers, RDHx, adiabatic systems • Direct-to-chip cold plates and immersion tanks Job Type: Full-time Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year Application Question(s): • Do you have experience of thermal management in Data Centers? • Are you experienced with HVAC/R systems, including CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, and cooling towers?
