Assist in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children, communicate with parents, and participate in professional development.
Must be at least 18, experienced with young children, and certified in CPR/First Aid, with a clean background check.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Assist the Lead Teacher in creating an environment that ensures the health and safety of the children in the classroom • Planning activities that are developmentally appropriate • Providing equal care, love, and respect to all children in the classroom • Maintain communication of the children’s development with parents/guardians • Actively participate in professional development opportunities • Assist in center/classroom cleaning duties • Be willing to complete annual required trainings Requirements include: • Must be at least 18 years of age • Experience working with young children • Clean background check / Fingerprint Clearance • CPR/First Aid Certified (within the first 30 days of employment)
