Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Tandem Software Engineer to join our client's Core Acquiring Front End engineering group within their Global Business division. This role focuses on developing and maintaining critical front-end applications that support the firm's global payment processing operations. The position is fully remote and offers a 12-month contract opportunity based in New York, NY. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and maintain front-end software components using Tandem systems. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. - You will troubleshoot and resolve software defects to ensure system reliability. - You will participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. - You will assist in the integration of front-end applications with back-end services. - You will document software designs and technical specifications. - You will stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to Tandem engineering. What You Bring: - You have 3+ years of experience working with Tandem software engineering or related front-end development. - You possess strong knowledge of front-end technologies and frameworks. - You have experience with debugging and performance optimization on Tandem platforms. - You demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - You have effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with payment processing systems or financial services software. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Knowledge of back-end integration and API development. - Prior experience working in a fully remote role.
