This position requires deep expertise in systems administration, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of Windows-based environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance infrastructure that supports vital healthcare operations. What You'll Do: - You will manage and maintain Windows Hosting Services, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. - You will troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues related to Windows environments. - You will implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect sensitive healthcare data. - You will collaborate with development and operations teams to support deployment and integration activities. - You will monitor system health and performance, proactively identifying and addressing potential problems. - You will document system configurations, processes, and changes to maintain compliance and knowledge sharing. - You will participate in disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity. - You will stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in Windows systems administration. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Windows systems administration or engineering. - Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, and related technologies. - Experience with system monitoring tools and performance tuning. - Familiarity with security standards and compliance requirements in the healthcare industry. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. - Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell for automation. - Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or equivalent. - Prior experience working in healthcare IT environments.
