Role Overview: As an L1 Associate Data Center Technician on the graveyard shift, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operational integrity of our client’s data center. You will ensure the smooth functioning of hardware and infrastructure, supporting the world’s largest professional network to help members achieve more. What You'll Do: - You will monitor and maintain data center equipment during the overnight shift to ensure optimal performance. - You will perform routine hardware inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed. - You will assist with the installation and configuration of new servers and network devices. - You will document all maintenance activities and incidents accurately. - You will collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues. - You will adhere to safety protocols and data center policies to maintain a secure environment. - You will respond promptly to alerts and alarms to minimize downtime. - You will support inventory management and equipment tracking within the data center. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in data center operations or IT hardware support. - Basic understanding of server hardware, networking equipment, and data center infrastructure. - Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with strong problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills to document and report technical issues clearly. - Familiarity with safety standards and protocols in a data center environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with large-scale professional network platforms or similar environments. - Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, or equivalent. - Knowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud infrastructure. - Previous experience working graveyard or overnight shifts.
