Role Overview: As an L1 Associate Data Center Technician on the graveyard shift, you will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting the data center infrastructure for one of the world's largest professional networks. This position ensures the reliability and efficiency of data center operations during overnight hours, providing essential technical support and troubleshooting. What You'll Do: - You will monitor and maintain data center hardware and infrastructure during the graveyard shift. - You will perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance. - You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and network issues promptly to minimize downtime. - You will assist with the installation and configuration of new equipment and systems. - You will document all maintenance activities and incidents accurately. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data center projects and upgrades. - You will adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure working environment. What You Bring: - You bring at least 1-2 years of experience in data center operations or a related technical support role. - You have a solid understanding of data center hardware, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting techniques. - You possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during overnight shifts. - You have excellent communication skills to effectively document and report issues. - You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on reliability and uptime. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a large-scale data center environment. - Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, or similar. - Familiarity with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools. - Previous experience supporting professional networking platforms or similar technology environments.
