Genesis10 is seeking a Front-End Software Engineer for a 3-month contract position with a client located in Brooklyn, OH. This role offers flexibility to work on-site or remotely within the Eastern Standard Time zone. The Front-End Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining user-facing features, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences. You will play a key role in translating design concepts into functional, efficient, and visually appealing web applications. What You'll Do: - You will develop new user-facing features using modern JavaScript frameworks. - You will build reusable code and libraries for future use. - You will ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. - You will optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. - You will collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability. - You will participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. - You will troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance. - You will stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and best practices. What You Bring: - You have 3+ years of experience in front-end development. - You are proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks such as React or Angular. - You have experience with responsive and adaptive design. - You understand cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. - You have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - You possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with TypeScript and state management libraries like Redux. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling. - Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
