Role Overview: As a Front-End Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing user-facing features for our client’s web applications. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects either on-site in Brooklyn, OH or remotely within the EST time zone. What You'll Do: - You will develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern front-end technologies. - You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to create seamless user experiences. - You will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. - You will participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. - You will troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues to ensure optimal application performance. - You will stay updated with emerging front-end trends and technologies to enhance project outcomes. - You will assist in the estimation and planning of development tasks. What You Bring: - You have 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development. - You are proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks such as React or Angular. - You have experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end components with back-end services. - You possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - You are comfortable working in an Agile development environment. - You have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with TypeScript and state management libraries like Redux. - Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git. - Prior experience working in a remote or distributed team setting.
