Role Overview: As a Developer (Specialty) IV, you will play a critical role in the Client E-commerce Category & Loyalty department, contributing to the development and enhancement of the company’s e-commerce and loyalty systems. This position is primarily remote, offering flexibility while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that improve customer experience and drive business growth. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and maintain scalable e-commerce and loyalty platform features. - You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to implement new functionalities. - You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system reliability. - You will participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. - You will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. - You will assist in the integration of third-party services and APIs to enhance platform capabilities. - You will mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team. - You will stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend their adoption when appropriate. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, preferably in e-commerce or retail environments. - Proficiency in specialty development languages and frameworks relevant to the client’s technology stack (e.g., Java, .NET, JavaScript, React). - Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms. - Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative development tools. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team setting. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with loyalty program platforms and customer engagement technologies. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with data analytics and personalization techniques. - Prior experience working in a retail or e-commerce company.
