Role Overview: As a Seasonal Chat Support Representative for Journeys, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service through online chat. This position is designed to support increased seasonal demand, providing timely and effective assistance to customers while representing the brand with professionalism and care. What You'll Do: - You will respond promptly and professionally to inbound customer inquiries via chat. - You will assist customers with product questions, order status, returns, and exchanges. - You will troubleshoot and resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction. - You will document customer interactions accurately in the system. - You will collaborate with team members and management to improve service quality. - You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, promotions, and policies. - You will meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards. - You will adapt to changing business needs and support continuous improvement initiatives. What You Bring: - You have at least 1 year of experience in customer service or chat support. - You possess excellent written communication skills with attention to detail. - You are comfortable using multiple computer systems and chat platforms simultaneously. - You demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and patience. - You have the ability to work independently in a remote environment. - You are available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during peak seasons. Bonus Points If You Have: - Previous experience in retail or e-commerce customer support. - Familiarity with Journeys or Genesco brands. - Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume chat environment. - Bilingual language skills.
