Job Title: Retail Store Cleaner (Evenings) Wage: $19.00 per hour Schedule: • Shifts: 9:30 PM – 1:30 AM • Days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday • Days off: Sunday & Tuesday About the Role We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Retail Store Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff during evening hours. Key Responsibilities • Floor Care • Operate a floor scrubbing machine to clean sales floor areas • Operate a floor burnisher to polish and maintain retail floor finishes • Washroom Cleaning • Clean and disinfect staff and customer washrooms • Refill supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.) • Staff & Office Areas • Clean and sanitize staff lunchroom (tables, counters, sinks, garbage removal) • Clean manager’s office (dusting, garbage, vacuuming/mopping as needed) • Customer-Facing Areas • Clean changerooms (mirrors, benches, floors, garbage) • Clean cash desk area (dusting, spot cleaning, garbage) • Clean entrance and vestibule area (sweeping/mopping, glass spot-cleaning, garbage) • Remove garbage and recycling from all assigned areas • Follow site-specific cleaning checklists and safety procedures Requirements • Previous cleaning/janitorial experience is an asset (especially in retail), but not always required • Ability to safely operate floor scrubbing machines and burnishers (training can be provided) • Comfortable working late evening shifts independently • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and checklists Job Type: Part-time Pay: $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 per week Application question(s): • Please provide an email address you can be reached at: Experience: • Commercial cleaning: 3 years (required) • Floor Machine: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person
