Role Overview: As the Deputy Director at Woodlands Community Lenders, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in managing lending operations and development initiatives. This position supports the Director in overseeing daily activities, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic growth to enhance community impact. What You'll Do: - You will manage lending programs and ensure timely processing of loan applications. - You will collaborate with community partners to identify development opportunities. - You will oversee compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. - You will assist in budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation. - You will lead and mentor a team to achieve organizational goals. - You will represent the organization at meetings and community events. - You will support strategic planning and implementation of new initiatives. - You will monitor program performance and prepare detailed reports. What You Bring: - You bring at least 5 years of experience in community development or lending operations. - You have strong knowledge of financial management and loan underwriting. - You possess excellent leadership and team management skills. - You have effective communication and interpersonal abilities. - You are proficient with relevant software and data management tools. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in rural economic development. - Familiarity with federal and state lending regulations. - Background in nonprofit management or community finance. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
