Senior Program Manager – Infotainment & Connectivity PMO At General Motors, our product teams are redefining mobility. The Role: At GM, we are driving toward an all-electric future with zero crashes, zero emissions, and zero congestion. Our Digital Vehicle Experience (DVE) team plays a pivotal role in this transformation by developing the technologies that will redefine Infotainment, productivity, and the human-vehicle experience. As a Senior Program Manager, you will lead the operational planning and execution of large-scale, cross-functional software and systems initiatives that bring to life a new vehicle interface system purpose built by GM for our customers. You’ll collaborate across engineering, product, and business operations to ensure hardware and software deliverables are aligned to vehicle launch milestones and organizational goals. What You’ll Do • Lead the execution of complex, cross-functional Infotainment and connectivity programs • Responsible for ensuring that all business deliverables are identified and accounted for in the project plan with responsible owners and due dates • Drive alignment between engineering, product, and operations to define program scope, resource needs, and timelines. • Track progress against milestones, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to ensure timely delivery. • Coordination between HW and SW teams for overall execution plan • Coordinate the VCU/Infotainment SW development plan across all vehicles for VCU releases • Work with Vehicle PMO on SW usage plans – mapping SW delivery to vehicle milestones • Manage the complexities amongst features and vehicle needs • Coordinate across hardware and software engineering, product management, and supply chain to support vehicle launch deliverables. • Facilitate issue resolution and decision-making forums, driving alignment on critical tradeoffs and execution paths. • Act as a trusted partner to leadership, providing insights into program status, resourcing, and schedule dependencies. Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) • 5+ years of project/program management experience in technical complex systems, demonstrating a strong track record of successful project delivery. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other equivalent experience. • Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, including Product and Engineering, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment. • Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs and customer-facing product initiatives across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment and high-quality delivery. • Analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively • Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies; deep proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Smartsheet or similar platforms. What will give you a competitive edge (Preferred Qualifications) • PMP Certification • Automotive software experience • Experience managing enterprise software programs Hybrid: This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of [Austin, Warren, Milford, Mountain View, Sunnyvale], you are expected to report to that location three times a week. Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of the California Bay Area. • The salary range for this role is $103,000 to $186,200. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position. • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
