Job Description Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to either GM Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan or Hudsons Global HQ in Detroit, Michigan three times per week, at minimum. The Role: The Infrastructure & Corporate Citizenship (ICC) function – comprised of the Global Real Estate, Construction, Facilities Operations, and Corporate Giving teams – is seeking a highly skilled and organized Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to up to 5 VP/Directors. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to anticipate needs at a high level. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, both internal and external, requiring independent thinking and judgment. What you'll do: Manage complex calendars, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements Coordinate and organize meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing relevant materials Provide solutions to non-routine problems of moderate scope and complexity, demonstrating independent thinking and adaptability Support executives in day-to-day activities, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion of tasks with accuracy Utilize MS Office applications to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations Create and maintain presentation material for senior level meetings Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information and material with discretion Identify opportunities for process improvement and initiate solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple Executives Bachelor’s degree preferred (and/or equivalent experience) Demonstrated ability to look ahead, proactively anticipating leader and business needs Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Demonstrated ability to work with a high level of integrity and discretion Extensive experience managing complex calendars and schedules Advanced skills and proficiency in Slack and MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Must be willing to accommodate varied time zones and schedules to support executives GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
