This includes direct company sponsorship, entry of GM as the immigration employer of record on a government form, and any work authorization requiring a written submission or other immigration support from the company (e.g., H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, J-1, etc.) Work Arrangement: This role is based remotely, but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta (GA), Austin (TX), Detroit (MI), Warren (MI), or Mountain View (CA) you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum. The Role: The HR Data Analyst serves as an operational lead for triaging and assessing Awareline cases involving HR and Labor Relations issues such as discrimination, harassment, and benefits fraud. Oversees end-to-end case management, ensuring timely resolution and alignment across Legal, Security, Safety, and GM Financial. Leverages advanced data analytics—focusing on collection, interpretation, and storytelling—alongside project management expertise to audit case integrity, manage access, and produce compelling visualizations for leadership. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to drive training and process improvements to promote compliance, consistency, and operational excellence. What You'll Do: • Review cases for completeness and escalate gaps or inconsistencies through defined project channels • Prepare reports and data for leadership, including advanced dashboards and visual presentations using tools like Excel and Power BI • Build and deliver complex data presentations that translate case trends and insights into actionable strategies for senior leadership • Perform audits of the HR/LR tier for data integrity and user access, managing these as recurring project deliverables • Maintain and develop documentation and procedures regarding the HR/LR tier in AIMS, applying project management principles to version control and stakeholder review • Lead cross-functional collaboration with HR, Audit, Security, Legal, Operations, and other constituencies to ensure alignment and accountability across case management projects • Handle cases as needed, applying structured investigative protocols and project tracking tools • Provide guidance to People HR regarding AIMS at a global level, managing global initiatives and change management efforts • Train cross-lateral partners on AIMS usage, data handling standards, and investigative protocols, including the development and delivery of project-based training programs • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives with clear timeliness and stakeholder communications, using project management tools and methodologies to drive execution Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications): • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience • 4+ years of experience preparing data centric reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, etc. • Prior experience leading and/or developing training curriculum • Ability to work autonomously • Strong situational judgement triaging and assigning HR/LR cases for handling What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications): • Familiarity conducting corporate investigations • Skill in managing documentation including Standard Operating Procedures and change management records Compensation: • The salary range for this role is $102,000 - $135,900. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position​ • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance​ • Benefits: GM offers a variety of health and wellbeing benefit programs.
