Full Description

The Role The Associate Manager of Meetings and Events will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing internal as well as customer-facing events and programs across multiple business units. This role manages national incentive trips, internal and external customer facing meetings, budgets, communications, reporting, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful event delivery. What You'll Do (Responsibilities) Event Planning & Execution: Manage and lead key major initiatives/programs • JOURNEYS Fixed Operations Dealer Incentive • Wholesale Dealer Summit/ACDelco Customer Events • Dealer Fixed Operations Advisory Board Meeting • National Meetings/Regional Events and Training Sessions • Accessory Event Support Coordinate logistics, approvals, bulletins, and executive briefings • Facilitate weekly meetings and dry runs Budget & Vendor Management: • Manage event budgets, approvals, and forecasting • Partner with vendors (Maritz, Jack Morton) Reporting & Communications: • Maintain daily reports via earnPower and Maritz FTP • Prepare executive briefing books and post-event surveys Additional Support: • Leadership meetings, ADI events, QPMs, Special Assignments • Update Teams calendar and business planner Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field • 3-5 + years of event planning or business operations experience • Proven ability to manage budgets and vendors • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools. • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to inform and persuade effectively. • Leverage data analytics tools to extract actionable insights that drive revenue growth, optimize operational performance, and elevate the customer experience. #LI-AP1
