The Role The ARC Engineering Business Manager serves as a strategic partner, bridging technical execution with financial discipline and operational excellence. This role ensures that engineering initiatives are aligned with business priorities, financially sound, and executed with clarity, accountability, and measurable impact. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, financial fluency, and an understanding of engineering environments to drive performance, optimize resources, and support long‑term strategic planning. What You'll Do Strategic Planning & Business Operations • Partner with ARC leadership to define annual goals, OKRs, and long‑range plans. • Translate ARC strategies into actionable business plans, budgets, and investment roadmaps. • Drive operational rhythms including quarterly business reviews, headcount planning, and resource allocation. Financial Management • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budget management for the ARC organization. • Analyze cost structures, ROI, and investment trade‑offs to support data‑driven decision‑making. • Monitor spend, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to maintain financial discipline. Program & Portfolio Support • Track progress, risks, and dependencies across ARC engineering initiatives. • Support prioritization discussions by connecting engineering work to business impact. Cross ‑ Functional Collaboration • Serve as a liaison between Engineering, Finance, Product, HR, and other business functions. • Support organizational planning, staffing needs, and communication across teams. • Help prepare materials for executive updates, business reviews, and strategic discussions. Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. • 4–7 years of experience in business operations, financial analysis, program management, or similar roles. • Strong analytical and financial skills, including comfort with spreadsheets and basic modeling. • Ability to translate technical information into clear business insights. • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
