About the Role The Senior Program Specialist plays a vital role in leading program execution through effective coordination, tracking, and communication across teams and customers. This role enhances day-to-day program management by facilitating progress meetings, monitoring budgets and deliverables, managing risk elements, and ensuring compliance with key reporting and contractual requirements. Key Job Elements: • * Monitor program performance metrics and support financial and compliance reviews in accordance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements, emphasizing senior oversight. • Track and manage program issues, budgets, and deliverables to support effective decision-making at a senior level. • Maintain and organize contractual files, correspondence, and program documentation with a focus on strategic alignment. • Prepare and monitor action items, minutes, and reports from program meetings for senior leadership review. • Coordinate and facilitate progress meetings with internal teams and customers, ensuring timely issue resolution and follow-up. • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers to support effective contract execution. • Track and submit Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Contract Change Proposals (CCPs), and other contractual communications with an emphasis on strategic impact. • Support bid and proposal activities and assist in program planning and reporting with a focus on senior management priorities. • Develop and deliver program reporting and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. • Promote continuous process improvement and ensure adherence to all compliance requirements (ITAR/EAR). • Provide meeting coverage for the Program Manager and support other special assignments as required, demonstrating leadership capabilities. Required Qualifications: • Bachelors degree • * Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience, including extensive project management experience. • Ability to respond to customer requirements and manage expectations while ensuring satisfaction at a senior level. • Customer and detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to plan, analyze, and solve complex problems. • Superior organizational skills with the ability to be agile, set priorities, and multi-task under pressure. • Self-motivated and effective in a multi-disciplinary team, including facilitating discussions and driving strategic initiatives. • Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior management. • Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills. • Experience in MS Office applications, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint. • Understanding of GDLS Program processes and measurements with a strategic perspective. • Ability to travel occasionally and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport. Preferred Qualifications: • EVMS and EVCore experience. • Familiarity with various functional areas of the business at a strategic level. • Previous experience working with government contracts. • Experience creating or maintaining metrics or other performance reports at a senior level. • Product knowledge and defense industry or military experience. • Related customer experience with a focus on strategic outcomes. • PMP designation or working towards. This position may require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance).
