Our work depends on Technical Editor joining our team to complete our agile team delivery model.Responsibilities:JOB PROFILE SUMMARY:Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and understand technical information.Perform analysis to understand the current state of the systemWrite and edit technical documentation including knowledge articles and system documentation to reflect the current stateOrganize and present information in a structured and easily digestible format for various audiences.Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity in all documentation.Update existing documentation to reflect changes in technology, products, or processes.Qualifications:WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Strong understanding of information technology concepts, systems, and processes.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.Previous exposure to Ruby on Rails frameworks is a major plusAbility to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 2+ years of experienceGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:Flex work week401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysThe likely salary range for this position is $51,000 - $69,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
