Key Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee the execution of a complex systems engineering contract, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of high-quality products and services • Develop and maintain strong relationships with DoD stakeholders, including program managers, engineers, and logistics personnel • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of systems engineers, software developers, and mission planning specialists • Coordinate and integrate the work of multiple subcontractors and vendors to ensure seamless execution of contract requirements • Develop and manage project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budget forecasts • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans as needed • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and DoD policies and procedures Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field) • Minimum 10 years of experience in systems engineering, software development, or mission planning, with at least 5 years of experience in a program management role • PMP certification or equivalent • TS clearance - SCI eligible • Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex contracts or programs • Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes and procedures • Experience with running Agile software projects and DevSecOps practices • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Desired Qualifications: • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field) • Experience with DoD systems engineering and acquisition processes, including the Defense Acquisition System and the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS)Familiarity with ITAR and export control regulations • Experience with cloud-based technologies and cybersecurity best practices The likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
