Job Description: • Serves as the Information System Security Officer for one or more systems and manages a team of up to 5 personnel • Responsible for ensuring that the security and privacy posture is maintained for the network and IT services • Provide comprehensive security services to ensure the security, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer systems • Operate and maintain the enterprise network at the designated security categorization level • Improve Software Supply Chain Security • Modernize and Implement Stronger Cybersecurity Standards in the Federal Government, including Multifactor Authentication • Establish a Cyber Safety Review Board • Create Standardized Playbook for Responding to Cybersecurity Vulnerabilities and Incidents • Improve Detection of Cybersecurity Incidents on Federal Government Networks • Vulnerability management and mitigation; incident response; cybersecurity investigations; continuous monitoring; gathering system information; documenting systems and security controls; information asset inventory; reporting; systems analysis; management of system audits and POAMS; preparing packages for Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) approval Requirements: • 8+ years of related experience • In-depth knowledge of FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST Special Publications and recommendations, Risk Management Framework, POAM management, incident response, audit, and accreditation processes • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or industry recognized certifications • Required Certification: CISSP Benefits: • Our benefits package for all US-based employees includes a variety of medical plan options, some with Health Savings Accounts • Dental plan options • A vision plan • A 401(k) plan offering the ability to contribute both pre and post-tax dollars up to the IRS annual limits and receive a company match • To encourage work/life balance, GDIT offers employees full flex work weeks where possible • A variety of paid time off plans, including vacation, sick and personal time, holidays, paid parental, military, bereavement and jury duty leave • GDIT typically provides new employees with 15 days of paid leave per calendar year to be used for vacations, personal business, and illness and an additional 10 paid holidays per year • The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees • Short and long-term disability benefits • Life, accidental death and dismemberment, personal accident, critical illness and business travel and accident insurance
