Role Description We are seeking a Segment Marketing Lead to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies for GeneDx’s emerging growth segments, including newborn and prenatal genomics. This individual will play a key role in shaping how we reach, educate, and engage healthcare professionals in these important areas of care. • Develop and execute audience-centric marketing strategies and campaigns tailored to HCP segments. • Define and refine audience segments using data-driven insights to develop detailed personas. • Create a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with audience needs. • Lead the development and execution of full-funnel, multi-channel marketing campaigns targeting healthcare professionals. • Partner with Channel Owners, CX, Sales, Product, Medical, and other teams to align on messaging and audience targeting. • Develop and execute measurement plans to track & analyze campaign performance. • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and audience behaviors to identify opportunities. • Position GeneDx as a trusted partner in the healthcare space by delivering compelling messaging. • Manage approvals and reviews for all marketing materials to ensure compliance. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred. • 8+ years of experience in marketing, preferably with 3-5 years focused on the healthcare industry. • Proven success in segment marketing, particularly targeting HCPs or similar professional audiences. • Background in pediatrics, maternal/fetal health, neonatology, or genomics is a plus. • Ability to build marketing strategies in emerging or growth markets. • Strength in simplifying complex scientific information into audience-centered messaging. • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills. • Proficiency in marketing technologies, including CRM and marketing automation platforms. • Experience with project management and project management tools like Monday.com. • Highly collaborative, with a history of success working cross-functionally. • A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • Strong analytical skills with experience in developing and interpreting marketing metrics and KPIs. • Passion for innovation, creativity, and driving meaningful outcomes in healthcare.
