Gemisphere is a small, established gemstone company seeking a detail-oriented Inventory & Shipping Manager to oversee both physical inventory and electronic inventory records, verify and fulfill order shipments, and support daily operations. This is a vital, on-site role that works methodically and autonomously while collaborating directly with both the Company Owner and Director of Operations. There is room, based on skillset and performance, for this position to expand into office or operations management, which would include a significant increase in salary. Responsibilities • Manage inventory, physically and electronically, across spreadsheets and within Shopify • Process and organize incoming production materials • Order and maintain levels of inventory, office, and shipping supplies • Prepare, verify, and ship both domestic and international customer orders with a strong focus on presentation • Manage and resolve any shipping or insurance related issues directly with shipping vendors • Coordinate production staff and track production schedules • Support customer service inquiries via phone, email, or in office as needed • Generate detailed reports per request of the company owner Requirements • 2+ years of experience with inventory management, shipping, or order fulfillment • Experience handling both physical inventory and electronic records • Proficient with Microsoft Excel (required); Word, Outlook, and Google Drive • Comfortable working autonomously with minimal oversight • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Reliable and punctual • Ability to lift 20+ lbs • Hand dexterity and the ability to do repetitive motions working with small, delicate objects.
