GeBBS Healthcare Solutions is seeking experienced Outpatient Facility Emergency Department Coders to join our dynamic and growing team. These remote, W-2 employee positions are available for both full-time and part-time schedules. If you are an AHIMA-credentialed professional with strong Emergency Department (ED) coding experience and are looking to work with a forward-thinking company that values accuracy, innovation, and continuous improvement, we’d love to hear from you! What You’ll Do • Code all diseases and conditions for the Emergency Department in accordance with ICD-10-CM, UHDDS, and AMA CPT-4, following client specifications. • Stay current with GeBBS and client coding policies/procedures, including updates or changes. • Clarify any unclear information with your supervisor and/or data quality specialist. • Maintain a 95%+ coding accuracy rate while meeting productivity standards. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA policies regarding patient data. Requirements What We’re Looking For: • Certification required: AHIMA credentials (RHIT, RHIA, or CCS). • Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ recent Facility ED coding experience. • Strong knowledge of ICD-10 outpatient coding principles. • Proficiency in Injection & Infusion coding. • Cerner PowerChart experience preferred. • Ability to pass the GeBBS Facility ED coding test. • Availability of at least 20 hours per week. • Must be US-based.
