Role Overview: As a Service Sales Manager at GEA Process Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in driving service sales growth by building strong customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities. You will act as a key liaison between clients and the company, ensuring customer satisfaction while promoting GEA’s comprehensive service offerings. What You'll Do: - You will develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve service revenue targets. - You will build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers. - You will identify customer needs and tailor service solutions to meet those requirements. - You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer support. - You will conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities. - You will prepare and present sales proposals and negotiate contracts. - You will track sales performance metrics and report on progress to senior management. - You will participate in trade shows and industry events to promote GEA’s service offerings. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in engineering or industrial services. - Strong knowledge of the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or dairy industries is highly desirable. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working within a global engineering company. - Technical background or understanding of process engineering. - Familiarity with contract management and service agreements. - Multilingual abilities, especially in German or other European languages.
