Role Overview: As a Service Sales Manager at GEA Process Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in driving service sales growth and strengthening customer relationships. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored service solutions that meet client needs. What You'll Do: - You will develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve service revenue targets. - You will build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. - You will identify customer needs and propose customized service solutions. - You will collaborate with engineering and service teams to ensure seamless service delivery. - You will manage the sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts to leadership. - You will participate in industry events and trade shows to promote GEA’s service offerings. - You will analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities. - You will prepare and present sales proposals and contracts to clients. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in engineering or industrial services. - Strong knowledge of process engineering or related technical fields. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the food and beverage or pharmaceutical industries. - Technical background or degree in engineering. - Familiarity with global sales processes and international markets. - Multilingual abilities, especially in German or other European languages.
