Role Overview: As a Service Sales Manager at GEA Process Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our service business by developing and executing sales strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and revenue. You will act as a key liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure the delivery of tailored service solutions that meet client needs and support long-term partnerships. What You'll Do: - You will develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve service revenue targets. - You will build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. - You will identify new business opportunities and expand the service portfolio within assigned markets. - You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and customer service teams to deliver customized solutions. - You will manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing. - You will analyze market trends and customer feedback to continuously improve service offerings. - You will prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management. - You will represent GEA at industry events and trade shows to promote our service capabilities. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within engineering or industrial services. - Strong understanding of process engineering or related technical fields. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with diverse teams. - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, or dairy industries. - Technical background or degree in engineering or a related discipline. - Familiarity with global sales processes and international markets. - Multilingual abilities, especially in German or other European languages.
