Role Overview: As a Service Sales Manager at GEA Process Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our service business by developing and managing customer relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and delivering tailored service solutions. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction and expanding our market presence. What You'll Do: - You will develop and execute sales strategies to achieve service revenue targets. - You will build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. - You will identify customer needs and propose customized service solutions. - You will collaborate with technical teams to ensure service offerings meet client requirements. - You will manage the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing. - You will monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities. - You will prepare sales reports and forecasts for senior management. - You will participate in industry events and trade shows to promote GEA’s service capabilities. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in engineering or industrial services. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Strong understanding of service sales processes and customer relationship management. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with diverse teams. - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the food and beverage or pharmaceutical industries. - Knowledge of GEA’s product lines and service offerings. - Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools. - Multilingual abilities, especially in German or Spanish.
