Role Overview: As a Service Sales Manager at GEA Process Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in driving service sales growth by building strong customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities. You will be responsible for managing the sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the company’s overall success. What You'll Do: - You will develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve service sales targets. - You will build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. - You will identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories. - You will collaborate with technical teams to tailor service solutions that meet customer needs. - You will manage the entire sales cycle, from lead qualification to contract negotiation and closing. - You will provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management. - You will participate in industry events and trade shows to promote GEA’s service offerings. - You will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and follow-up. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in engineering or industrial services. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Strong understanding of engineering processes and technical service solutions. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the food and beverage or pharmaceutical industries. - Technical background or engineering degree. - Familiarity with global sales processes and international markets. - Multilingual abilities, especially in German or Spanish.
