Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university. • Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical, instrumentation, and/or controls engineering project management, design, or operation. Desired Characteristics: • Knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering business products, business processes, customers, and competitive environment. • Demonstrated ability in meeting project budget, schedule, and quality commitments in electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering projects. • Excellent leadership, influencing, communication, and presentation skills. • Experience working with Government contracts and contracting requirements. • Ability and willingness to travel. • Experience in power generation, industrial automation, or equivalent technical environment, with a focus on electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering aspects. • Prior experience working with architect engineers/subcontractors on electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering projects. • IT/Computer competency. • Proven ability to think strategically, be creative, and move quickly. • Established credibility with peers and managers based on experience in electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering. • Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems specific to electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering. • Primavera project scheduling tool experience. • Graduate of GE leadership program (PMLP, JOLP, or similar). • Six Sigma training (BB, DFSS, etc.) (GE Employees only).
