The Machine Head Subsystem Technical Program Manager provides program and operational leadership, oversight, and tools that enable the Machine Head team to achieve business priorities, execute programs flawlessly, and run the business with excellence. They will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Sourcing, and Configuration Management to maintain a tightly interconnected team working towards the common goal of developing world-class wind turbines. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities • Own the planning and execution of integrated program schedule, budget, resource identification, and priority discussions for large New Product Introduction programs from conception through product sunset. • Coordinate deliverables, execution, and Detailed Schedules with Systems Program Managers to escalate visibility to critical path activities. • Own and develop the tools and methods to facilitate world class execution and operational rigor for the team. • Lead subsystem operating rhythms, work portfolio, and support resource demand planning. • Define and maintain operational and financial metrics aligned with business priorities. • Manage major cross-platform programs. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university or similar • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Program Management, Renewable Energy Engineering or related fields Desired Characteristics • Ability to break-down complex issues, determine possible courses of action, and enable effective decision making • Ability to prioritize information, using analytical thinking for decision making • Technical aptitude and familiarity with industrial-scale projects or products • System or product-level mindset • Effective oral and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Established project management skills • Has in-depth knowledge of GE Vernova internal standards for product development GE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation. Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $111,200.00 and $185,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
