The Program Manager is responsible for driving execution across the product portfolio — ensuring New Product Introductions (NPIs), platform evolution, certifications, and customer commitments are delivered with clarity, discipline, and alignment to business priorities. This role serves as the execution integrator between Product Management, R&D Project Management and Platform Leadership — translating portfolio strategy into structured, measurable program outcomes. Job Description Role Overview As the Program Manager, you will own program-level coordination and execution governance across the CIC portfolio. You will: Translate roadmap priorities into executable program plans Drive prioritization across competing development efforts Manage interdependencies, risks, and resource constraints Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery This role requires strong systems thinking, structured decision-making, and the ability to influence across a global, matrixed organization. Key Responsibilities Portfolio & NPI Execution Own the integrated CIC portfolio execution plan. Lead portfolio-level planning and prioritization across NPIs and sustaining initiatives. Ensure alignment between Product Managers’ business cases and R&D delivery plans. Balance scope, timing, cost, and quality trade-offs at the program/portfolio level. Drive structured prioritization of development initiatives Risk & Dependency Management Identify and actively manage cross-project dependencies Anticipate risks early and lead mitigation planning Escalate critical risks with structured options and recommendations. Financial & Resource Alignment Consolidate portfolio-level budget visibility across projects. Partner with technology leader on resource planning aligned to portfolio priorities. Provide transparency into investment allocation and execution status. Performance Tracking & Executive Reporting Track program KPIs (OTD, cost adherence, scope stability, quality indicators). Provide executive-level dashboards and decision briefs Operational Excellence Standardize NPI execution practices across CIC. Improve milestone discipline, cross-functional alignment, and execution predictability. Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement Qualifications PMP certification or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management or a related field. 8+ years in Program Management, Product Development, or Technical Leadership. Experience leading cross-functional hardware and/or software product development. Strong understanding of NPI lifecycles and portfolio prioritization. Experience in Agile or hybrid development environments. Strong financial and resource planning acumen. Proven ability to influence across engineering, product, and leadership stakeholders. Telecommunications, networking, or critical infrastructure experience. Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
