Job Description Summary The US Retirement Plans Senior Manager will provide leadership and direction to evaluate, modify and recommend strategies to manage and design GE Vernova’s defined contribution (e.g., 401(k)), defined benefit, and non-qualified retirement plans (the Retirement Benefit Plans). The US Retirement Plans Senior Manager will report to the Head of Executive Compensation. Job Description The US Retirement Plans Senior Manager’s responsibilities include: Overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the Retirement Benefit Plans. Managing consulting and actuarial relationships, including evaluation of design and funding strategies in line with company objectives. Partnering with GE Vernova’s Legal, Finance, Treasury, HR and benefits administration teams to ensure regulatory compliance, plan interpretation, financial accounting, reporting and funding requirements are maintained. Overseeing communications strategy and delivery. Working with external vendors and internal stakeholders to oversee the administrative functions for the US Retirement Benefit Plans, including coordinating activities, establishing deadlines, and determining priorities to ensure compliance of enrolments, terminations, monitoring effectiveness of retirement plan processes, making recommendations for improvements, and implementing changes to US Retirement Benefit Plans. Supporting the fiduciary governance tasks for the GEV Benefits Administrative Committee and Vernova Retirement Investment Committee. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus 10+ years of experience with direct responsibility for the administration of retirement plans. Experience managing large, complex defined contribution and defined benefit plans. Experience managing large, complex projects. Experience leading and managing a team of benefits professionals. Advanced knowledge of Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), Department of Labor, and Internal Revenue Service requirements. Expertise in benefits laws and regulations, policies, and practices with particular expert-level knowledge in those pertaining to retirement plans. Demonstrated expertise with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to defined contribution, defined benefit and non-qualified plan administration, management, and governance. Strong aptitude for data and numbers, extremely organized and detail-oriented. Excellent computer skills, high level of IT literacy with benefits administration platforms. Excellent written and verbal skills, strong analytical and interpretive skills; outstanding interpersonal skills with an ability to work within a team environment and independently. Must be comfortable presenting to large groups both in person and virtually. Desired Characteristics: Lean working knowledge and experience Actuarial or pension consulting experience Strong track record in developing and conducting projects unilaterally in all stages (planning, kick off, work coordination, proposal, implementation, and handover to local HR). Able to work independently by leading, guiding, and coordinating others and operating within a defined budget. Experience in providing independent guidance and advice to HR, business leaders, and employee committees at various levels of experience and hierarchy in the organization. Ability to adapt advisory style and tailor final products to target audiences. Understanding of finance for business. Confidence to challenge and ask questions. Can-do attitude with a strong sense of accountability as well as interdependence. Ability to work under broad or limited supervision. Logical, structured and process-oriented thinking. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; quick adaptability to systems, tools and processes. Relocation Assistance Provided: No #LI-Remote - This is a remote position For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $141,900.00 and $236,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
