We are hiring a Customer facing Staff Manager; A dynamic professional with a passion for driving business and team growth while shaping commercial strategies. A Sales director who thrive in customer-facing environments and possess the hunter's mentality with the commercial judgment and the acumen to influence outcomes and secure business wins. Job Description Responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing sales team across the North American region, focused on selling Aero gas turbine products, services, parts, and integrated solutions. Attracts, retains, and nurtures top commercial talent, fostering a culture of performance, innovation, and customer-centricity. Drives creative and strategic solutions to address complex customer needs, product portfolios, market dynamics, and sales processes. Influences and aligns individual contributors and cross-functional teams, while negotiating with external partners, vendors, and key customers to secure strategic deals. Provides direction and oversight to functional teams and high-impact projects with significant resource requirements, risk, and complexity. Develops and applies commercial expertise across multiple countries, product lines, and customer segments, ensuring consistent delivery and execution across diverse sales territories. Interprets internal and external business challenges, recommending and implementing industry-leading best practices to enhance products, processes, and services. Leverages deep understanding of global and regional industry trends to inform strategic decision-making and long-term planning. Evaluates and synthesizes complex data inputs, challenging assumptions, and conflicting information to drive sound commercial decisions. Communicates complex strategic messages across the organization and externally, influencing stakeholders to adopt new perspectives and approaches. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 15 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)) 10 years of proven commercial/sales/or Operations experience within the Power Generation Industry. Other Eligibility: Proven track record in Gas Turbine Power Generation with deep industry expertise and enhanced customer relationship management Demonstrated success in leading large teams Up to 50% travel within the USA Desired Characteristics Exceptional strategic thinking and commercial acumen. Strong oral and written communication skills, with executive presence. Inspirational leadership style with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and team development. Ability to drive cross-functional alignment and lead through influence. Advanced project and program management capabilities. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $151,400.00 and $252,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: sales incentive.
