Job Description Summary GE Vernova (GEV) works in collaboration with the main contractor on site as technology provider and nominated supplier but has a significant responsibility on engineering and material delivered at site. . In order to mitigate GEV’s risk and accelerate resolution of issues linked with engineering and equipment’s delivered, the Project Site Coordinator will work with KAPES team at site on behalf of GEV. Monitoring quality of realization against requirement, alignment of in designs and quality issues linked with engineering or equipment supplied by GEV. Two projects are currently in execution with end customers in Korea. • EP1(Donghaean ~ Shingapyeong HVDC project) • EP2(Donghaean ~ Dong-Seoul HVDC project) The Project Site Coordinator will functionally report to the Senior Project Manager in Korea. Objectives Project site coordinator main objectives • Ensure safe work (EHS) for himself and GEV staff on site and support site issues • Ensure coordination with KAPES on on-going site actions linked with GEV • Manage deliveries (and related interface documents) of GEV equipment to KAPES • Coordination of RFIs, NCRs, as-built and others relevant processes (RFI : Request for Information, NCR : Non-Conformance Report) Major Responsibilities The Project site coordinator must coordinate and monitor progress of engineering at site, drive resolution from GEV’s • Drive coordination between KAPES/KEPCO and GEV regarding all site matters • Drive GE’s problem resolution, animate GEV community to support KAPES • Ensure alignment of expectation between project team and customers • Assist/support project material inspection such as check-list readiness, missing & faulty material follow-up, preparing report if required • Attend regular meeting to keep informed site progress and report if required • Support/coordinate GEV’s supervisors such as work permission (incl. EHS) and site work The Project site coordinator maximize customer’s satisfaction in order to promote GEV brand name and customer intimacy. • Proactive problem resolution • Immediate reactivity to customer request linked with site. The Project site coordinator ensure compliance with law & regulations, EHS guidance in order to protect GE and own safety. Network & Links Internal • HVDC project manager & engineers • Project procurement & logistics manager External • KAPES site manager & engineers • KEPCO site engineers. • GEV Korea team for support : legal/ contractual requirements, local regulations and requirements, local supply and etc Knowledge & Experience • Fluent in English and Korean • Experiences of construction activities • Knowledge of HVDC is a plus • Engineering degree • Basic skill of MS word, excel, ppt • Basic skill of IT devices • Quality management experience prefered • System project and/or large project site experience prefered Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: No • This is a remote position
