What impact you’ll make? Manage resources (equipment and personnel) and activities required for the manufacturing operations to obtain maximum efficiency and meet performance objectives. Maintains authority over budget and scheduling. Ownership of EHS, quality, manufacturing engineering, production control and operations. Job Description What you’ll do • Ensure that all manufacturing processes are executed efficiently, safely, in good quality and in time. • Responsible for the development of his subordinates • Responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of the Aero Power Turbine Subassembly cell. Develop and follow standards and control gap vs standards , by initiating actions where needed • Detail / coordinate capacity & capability needs associated with the volume. • Initiate and lead projects to improve deliverables. • Drive the productivity improvements in the cell with the support of Lean and engineering department. • Promotion of innovation and improvements to increase safety, quality, production efficiency and to reduce cycles. Implement Lean initiative and establish the culture of 5S and Kaizen through Employee suggestions. • Control of inventory level and continuous improvement of turnover. • Responsible for the cost controlling of the line. • Communicate and execute company goals, policies, and procedures in the workplace. • Training, briefing and monitoring of compliance with all EHS policies and continuous improvement of these standards. • Assure that the HRO processes and activities on his/her area are performed according to the respective section of the Global Star framework Basic Qualifications/ Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Engineering, Industrial Engineer (Management or Business Administration desired) • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Rotating Equipment • Strong understanding of machining and fabrication / assembly activities. • Ability to lead a results-oriented team with the objective to continually improve economical and qualitative standards and processes. • Ability to lead employees based on his/her skills and personality to encourage his/her performance and motivation for life long learning. • Preparedness to continually develop oneself and adapt to a constantly changing/dynamic environment. • Distinct personal engagement, integrity and credibility. • Able to deliver message through presentations in front versatile audiences • Assertiveness and ability to convince people. • Team player behavior, open minded and enthusiastic • Excellent information organizational skills • Fluent English Benefits Available to You GE employees rise to the challenge of building a world that works. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
