Job Description Summary The Aero Gas Turbines Technical Manager is responsible for managing process and coordination of scope of work. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Establish a process to check the condition of the units before the procurement process. Produce status reports of the surveyed units. Coordinate with Engineering team all the required Refurbishment scopes of work. Produce the list of required parts for the refurbishment process. Use GE tools to order parts and raise engineering queries. Estimate the budget of the Refurbishment work. Contact the refurbishment facility (internal or external to GEV) and agree with them on: Scope of work Time schedule Required Parts Cost of the process Supervise the work during execution Obtain final report Coordinate the time schedule of refurbishment among several units that need to be refurbished Required Qualifications 7 years in Construction and commissioning of Aero Gas Turbines TMs and LMs, electrical and Controls or Mechanical. Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited college or university. OR High School Diploma with 7-10 years of experience in construction and commissioning of Aero Gas Turbines, TMs and LMs, electrical and controls or mechanical. Ability to travel to work locations in Houston, Texas area as well as other locations as needed. Desired Characteristics Prior experience in Operation, maintenance, commissioning of Aero gas turbines. Prior experience in Power Plant operations and Maintenance. Prior experience with Aero gas turbines systems. Leads with a Lean mindset and is skilled in applying Lean tools to improving business operations. Specifically Daily Management, Standard Work, and Monthly Operating Reviews based on Bowler/KPIs. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
