Job Description Summary The Supply Chain Software Functional Owner supports and optimizes supply chain software applications by managing and prioritizing backlogs, leading daily management for cross-functional development teams, conducting quality assurance testing, facilitating user training sessions, developing and standardizing work processes, and addressing customer issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions. This role emphasizes continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence, requiring strong problem-solving skills, proactive initiative, and the ability to balance priorities effectively. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities • Manage and prioritize a well-scoped backlog for supply chain software applications by collaborating with stakeholders to align features and enhancements with business needs. • Lead daily management for a cross-functional development team, ensuring alignment on priorities, tracking progress, and resolving issues. • Perform quality assurance testing to ensure software functionality, reliability, and alignment with requirements and user expectations. • Provide user support by answering questions, offering guidance on software functionality, and assisting with root cause analysis and corrective actions for customer incidents. • Facilitate user training and develop standard work documentation to ensure effective adoption and consistent use of software tools. • Manage incidents and execute business changes by collaborating with Digital Technology, documenting processes, conducting fit/gap analyses, and defining future state processes. • Drive continuous improvement by using FLIGHT DECK to reduce waste and partnering with Digital Technology and Supply Chain teams to optimize processes and tools. • Influence supply chain software strategy, guide teams and projects with minimal risk and complexity, and communicate complex concepts to align stakeholders on alternative perspectives. • Make informed decisions on complex tasks by evaluating information, engaging stakeholders to ensure business value, and offering innovative solutions with actionable recommendations.
