This position blends remote troubleshooting with hands-on, on-site technical support to maintain and enhance client systems. What You'll Do: - You will install and configure communications systems and related electronic equipment at client sites. - You will perform routine maintenance and urgent repairs on servers, workstations, and network devices. - You will provide remote and on-site technical support to diagnose and resolve system issues. - You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and effective service delivery. - You will document service activities, configurations, and troubleshooting steps accurately. - You will train clients on system usage and best practices to maximize operational efficiency. - You will stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to provide expert advice. - You will ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all service activities. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in field services support or a similar technical role. - Strong knowledge of communications systems, servers, workstations, and networking equipment. - Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues in complex environments. - Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls efficiently. - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently to client sites. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent. - Experience with VoIP systems and unified communications platforms. - Familiarity with remote monitoring and management tools. - Background in training or mentoring junior technicians.
