Role Overview: As a Senior Field Services Support Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless installation, configuration, and maintenance of communication systems and related electronic equipment. This position blends remote troubleshooting with hands-on on-site service, providing comprehensive support to our clients. What You'll Do: - You will install, configure, and maintain communication systems, servers, and workstations. - You will perform routine and emergency maintenance to ensure system reliability and performance. - You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues both remotely and on-site. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system upgrades and deployments. - You will document service activities, configurations, and technical issues accurately. - You will provide training and technical support to end-users and junior technicians. - You will ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all service activities. - You will manage inventory and coordinate logistics for field service operations. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in field services support or a related technical role. - Strong knowledge of communication systems, servers, and workstation hardware. - Proficiency in troubleshooting network and electronic equipment issues. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. - Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently for on-site support. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar. - Experience with VoIP systems and unified communications platforms. - Familiarity with remote monitoring and management tools. - Background in training or mentoring junior staff.
