Role Overview: As a Senior Field Services Support Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless installation, configuration, and maintenance of communication systems and related electronic equipment. This position blends remote troubleshooting with hands-on, on-site service, requiring a proactive and skilled professional to support our clients' technology infrastructure. What You'll Do: - You will install, configure, and maintain communication systems, servers, and workstations. - You will perform routine and emergency maintenance to ensure optimal system performance. - You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues both remotely and on-site. - You will collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and provide tailored solutions. - You will document service activities and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs. - You will support the deployment of new technologies and upgrades. - You will ensure compliance with safety and industry standards during all service activities. - You will provide training and technical guidance to junior technicians and clients as needed. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years experience in field services support or a related technical role. - Strong knowledge of communication systems, servers, and workstation hardware. - Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electronic and network equipment. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites regularly. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent. - Experience with VoIP systems and network infrastructure. - Familiarity with remote support tools and software. - Previous experience in training or mentoring junior staff.
